List of VISA Free Countries for Ethiopian Passport Holders

Ethiopian citizens can travel visa-free to 13 countries in the world. However, to enter the remaining countries, Ethiopian passport holders must apply for a visa beforehand.

As of September 2023, Ethiopian passport holders can travel visa free to 13 countries and territories:

4. Dominica
5. Haiti
6. Kenya
7. Micronesia
8. Niue
9. Philippines
10. Samoa
11. Singapore
12. Saint Vincent and the Grenadines
13. Gambia

For visa-free travels, you still must have a valid passport — usually six months after your departure date— and you must purchase travel health insurance as required by your destination country.

You receive a visa on arrival (VOA) after entering the country that issues such a visa. Usually, there is a separate section at the airport where you can submit your application for your visa on arrival.
